With wedding season just around the corner, many couples are planning where they are going to spend their honeymoon getaway.  My suggestion is to pick a place where you and your hubs will both enjoy the surroundings, as well as capture some romantic memories.  If you’re a sucker for warm weather and gorgeous beaches like I am, then you must pick one of these 5 fabulous vacation spots!

1.) Seychelles — One of the most photographed beaches in the world, according to National Geographic.  The pale pink sands of Anse Source d’Argent spreads across the island of La Digue.  The water here is relatively shallow, so no worries if you can’t swim!  Also, island tour operators run ferry boats and helicopters for a day of island-hopping, so you can visit all the different beaches.

2.) Oahu, Hawaii –If you love adventurous activities along with a little fun in the sun, then this is the perfect place to honeymoon.  As a frequent visitor of the island myself, I can say it is surely not a disappointment.  You and your honey can do a bit of hiking up Diamond Head, sip a Mai Tai at Waikiki beach, and of course snorkel at the beautiful Lanakai Beach.  Lanakai is said to be one of the top rated beaches in all of Hawaii!

3.) San Juan, Puerto Rico– If you love to mix a bit of history into your vacay, then Puerto Rico is perfect.  After visiting the historic Fort San Cristobal and snapping a picture of the many colorful casas, you can take a private ferry to Flamenco Beach in Culebra.  This secluded beach has pristine crystal clear waters, and is truly one of the most romantic beaches I have ever seen!

4.) Amalfi Coast, Italy– Okay so I had the opportunity to visit The Amalfi Coast last year, and it is hands down one of the most breathtaking places I have ever been to.  Imaging drinking some limoncello and relaxing on the black sand beach, with the warm Mediterranean water washing up to your feet.  How is that not the perfect honeymoon getaway?  I would recommend taking a private boat out on the water, and swimming in the many grotto’s along the coast.  It’s super romantic, and is something you’ll be able to remember forever!

5.) St. Lucia, Caribbean — A drive in volcano, Sulphur Springs, and crystal clear waters?  I think I might have just found a little piece of heaven ladies and gentlemen!  This Caribbean island not only caught my eye when I watched Brad’s season of The Bachelor, but it was rated one of CNNMoney’s  ‘Best Honeymoon Hotspots’.  If you want a little privacy, stay at the luxurious Jade Mountain Resort (pictured above), with views of twin Piton miuntais and the Caribbean Sea.  Oh, and did I mention there are no phones, radios, or TVs in the rooms.  So ladies, your man won’t have any distractions what so ever!
