I’ll let you in on a little secret: I love gawking celebrity weddings. The drama! The fashion! The extravagant 11-course meals! Jessica Biel wears a pink dress! Katy Perry rode an elephant! Between the over-the-top fanfare and the jaw-dropping expenses, there’s at least a couple hours of good, clean entertainment.
That’s why I’ve compiled a list of celebrity couples that I WISH would get married, because let’s face it – their weddings would be ones to gawk. Wouldn’t you agree?
1. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (KimYe)
It’s been no secret that Kim and Kanye want to tie the knot as soon as her divorce to Kris Humphries is finalized. The big question is, how will Kim outdo her last trip down the aisle? As I recall, she had three dresses, a million-dollar tiara, and bridesmaids dresses worth $250,000 altogether. If KimYe decides to tie the knot, I’d cross my fingers for at least five dresses, Kanye rapping Kim down the aisle, and Jay-Z as the officiant.
2. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez
Ah, young love. No one in Hollywood wears it as well as the Biebs and his lady, Selena Gomez. While they’re still young, they wouldn’t be the first teenage stars to put a ring on it (ahem, Miley Cyrus anyone?). If this all-star couple were to get married, I’m sure we could expect tons of A-list guests, a playlist of Top 40 Hits at the reception, and a stunningly sweet dress on Selena. Oh, and millions of devastated Bieliebers.
3. K-Stew and R-Patz
Sure, they had their share of #drama this year, but Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson made up in time for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premier, so it’s all good…right? While everyone’s basically already seen them married once on the big screen, if they were to get married in real life, it could be interesting to see how/if their wedding will be different. Would R-Patz be less pale? Would K-Stew be less breathily enamored and in love? Would there be vampires?
4. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling
Only because Ryan Gosling looks awesome in a tux. Oh, and because you could make SO MANY “Hey Girl” memes about their wedding afterwards.
5. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield
They. Are. So. Adorable. And come on – who doesn’t love Emma Stone? The Spiderman stars would have the cutest, quirkiest, smartest wedding ever.
