A romantic country club wedding by Year and A Day Photography

What’s more romantic than an ethereal illusion neckline wedding dress, an elegant country club and a real-life romance? Answer: nothing! That’s why we are over the moon about today’s gorgeous and romantic country club wedding! The bride, Jessica, planned the whole thing from start to finish and did an amazing job. A few words from the bride:

My wedding was held exactly one year from the date my husband surprised me with a romantic proposal at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. I wanted our wedding to be intimate, personal, and understated. I was not someone who planned my dream wedding as a little girl, so after getting engaged I had to really think about what I wanted.

I knew I wanted to get married surrounded by beautiful scenery. I especially love mountains, and I have always loved upstate New York for its quaintness and natural beauty. After some research and visualizing, I realized I wanted my wedding to be rustic with some vintage touches. We drew inspiration from our beautiful venue, the style of the TV show Downton Abbey, as well as the love of filmmaking my husband and I share.

Keep going to see more beautiful moments from Jessica and Tom’s big day, captured by A Year and A Day Photography!
